Below is the process we follow at Buffy’s Bakery to ensure all our orders are lovingly designed, baked and collected on time. Please carefully read our terms and conditions below.

By paying and confirming your order, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.

CELEBRATION CAKES

ORDER CONFIRMATIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY.

A minimum of 4 days notice must be given. To secure your booking payment must be made in full, without the payment your order is not confirmed. Once a design has been sent to you with a quote, it is held for you for 72 hours. The full payment must be made within this time. After the 72 hours are up, the booking will go to the next client. If you wish to cancel an order you must notify me at least 5 days before the collection/delivery date. 

CHANGES TO CAKE DESIGN/ORDER

All changes must be made at least 5 days before the collection/delivery date and it must be confirmed in writing by Buffy’s Bakery. Any changes to the original design may incur additional costs. In a circumstance where we have to cancel we will give as much notice as possible and we will try to come up with a suitable agreement. If you are still unhappy we can look into giving a refund. 

CAKE DESIGN

All of our cakes are handmade so there may be some variation in colours, decorations and design. 

COLLECTION/DELIVERY

All deliveries have charges which will be stated in your invoice. Once your cake has left our premises we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur. If you miss your collection slot, your cake may not be stored in the fridge and may risk damage whilst being delivered. 

TRANSPORTATION

Cakes must be kept on a flat surface, either in your passenger foot well or the boot. 
You must NOT keep the cake on the passenger seat of the car. I also do not recommend holding the cake.
Ensure the heating in the car is off and if it is a cool day, make sure the AC has been running for some time before the cake goes in the car.
Avoid all sunlight directly on the cake. Hold the cake by the base only and do not hold it against your body.
Keep the cakes in the fridge, only take it out an hour before you wish to eat it. 
When transporting cakes, ensure they have been in the fridge beforehand. Travelling with room temperature cake is most likely going to cause damage.
Please drive very carefully as we are not responsible once the cake leaves our premises.
Once cut, store in an airtight container or wrap it in cling film.  

WEDDING CAKES

All wedding cake prices are tailored to each cake.
Once a quotation has been sent, your date will be held for 3 weeks
To secure your booking a 50% non refundable deposit must be made and the outstanding balance must be made 4 weeks before the date. 
Orders are not secured unless the deposit has been paid.
Wedding cakes with less than 4 weeks notice will have to be paid in full. 
Any changes made to wedding cakes must be made at least 5 weeks prior. 
Once a cake has been delivered and set up, we can not be held liable for any damages done. 

NOTICE

If your order is placed with less than two weeks notice and we need to order any personalised items, should the item not arrive in time or get lost in the post a refund for the item isn’t available.
